Eden Morris started playing softball competitively at a young age, but it wasn’t until she started competing at the collegiate level that she realized the importance of nutrition in performance and overall health. The impact of eating certain foods and the timing of those foods before, during, and after activity can truly make a tremendous difference in performance for any athlete – amateur, elite, or professional.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University, she pursued a Master’s of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and completed my dietetic internship at Georgia State University. Eden spent the next few years working as a clinical dietitian in hospitals in Georgia and Texas. She moved to Jackson, Wyoming in 2018, and rediscovered her love for the outdoors by hiking, climbing, and skiing in the Tetons.
She founded my private practice in June 2020 to provide nutrition counseling to active individuals who share a love for the outdoors no matter the season. She help clients reach their health goals with evidence-based and practical knowledge, and I am always reading and learning about the latest nutrition science in order to best serve my clients.
In 2022, Eden pivoted away from weight-centric care to become a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. She is now a weight-inclusive provider who believes there is no specific ‘look’ for an athlete, a fueled body performs better in all phases of life, and food is more than fuel.
